Making Crop Pants Winter Chic

“If I had one wish, it would be for self-drying pants. Wait — no! Unlimited wishes! How do I return these stupid pants?!”

Style Tip of the Day:

Spring style is hitting the stores right meow.  And the way I see it, you can either get depressed about the fact that realistically (at least for Minnesotans), you won’t be wearing a bikini for at least another 5-6 months, or you can embrace a few new items and incorporate them into your wardrobe.  Take the crop pant, for instance.  You might think it can only be worn with sandals or strappy heels.  After all, it does expose a bit of ankle (which can be quite inconvenient in our tundra temps).  BUT – simply pair the pants with an ankle bootie, like the ones above from the Elle line at Kohl’s – and voila!  Winter chic!  And what better way to add another reason to go shopping?! (Says the girl who pathetically needs to upgrade her walk in size closet because she just can’t bear the thought of parting with anything).

Coat (Gap), Scarf (Forever 21), Gloves (Kohl’s), Shoes (Elle line, Kohl’s), Sweater (Old Navy), Pants (H&M), Bag (DKNY via Marshall’s)

    • Ha – yes very comfy! It’s the chunky heel – gotta love it! And I definitely used my Kohl’s “cash” for those :) Unfortunately, I bought them on clearance (shhhh….) – so it may be slim pickens – but good luck!
