Style Tip of the Day:
Spring style is hitting the stores right meow. And the way I see it, you can either get depressed about the fact that realistically (at least for Minnesotans), you won’t be wearing a bikini for at least another 5-6 months, or you can embrace a few new items and incorporate them into your wardrobe. Take the crop pant, for instance. You might think it can only be worn with sandals or strappy heels. After all, it does expose a bit of ankle (which can be quite inconvenient in our tundra temps). BUT – simply pair the pants with an ankle bootie, like the ones above from the Elle line at Kohl’s – and voila! Winter chic! And what better way to add another reason to go shopping?! (Says the girl who pathetically needs to upgrade her walk in size closet because she just can’t bear the thought of parting with anything).
Coat (Gap), Scarf (Forever 21), Gloves (Kohl’s), Shoes (Elle line, Kohl’s), Sweater (Old Navy), Pants (H&M), Bag (DKNY via Marshall’s)

I wore crop pants with flats for NYE and just decided to freeze my ass off. Well worth it in my opinion.
Are those boots comfy ’cause they’re awesome and my mother-in-law loves using her Kohls coupons….???
Update” CRAP, they don’t have my size online. Now begins the maniacal stalking…
Ha – yes very comfy! It’s the chunky heel – gotta love it! And I definitely used my Kohl’s “cash” for those
Unfortunately, I bought them on clearance (shhhh….) – so it may be slim pickens – but good luck!
